Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the details you choose to provide, and we use them to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and assess which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may also support basic analytics and, when present, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
Limited visitor data helps us operate pages, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles tied to individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links may lead to Santa Rosa and Sonoma County portals, California agencies, library collections, or outside search services. Information entered after leaving this site falls under the destination's privacy policy, not ours. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by a third party.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
Safeguarding Visitor Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since visitors do not create accounts, the site holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted such information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Because we retain very little, a request will usually involve our contact mailbox and server logs. Submit one through the Contact page. Government records held by Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to the responsible custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revision will appear on this page. Using the site after a revised policy is posted signifies acceptance of that version.
